EcoRide

EcoRide unifies fragmented EV charging networks into a high-performance intelligence hub. It empowers drivers with live station availability, predictive range modeling, and seamless cross-provider payment integration, allowing users to manage charging sessions across 15+ major providers through a single, low-latency interface.

EV drivers faced significant 'range anxiety' due to fragmented infrastructure. With over a dozen competing networks requiring separate apps and payment methods, users struggled to find available chargers in real-time, leading to unreliable journey planning and poor adoption of sustainable transportation.

We engineered a unified hub architecture that integrates disparate provider APIs into a centralized map. Utilizing high-frequency WebSockets and edge-caching, the platform delivers sub-second status updates, while a custom-built routing engine calculates battery consumption based on topography and real-time driving behavior.

Challenges

01/

Fragmented Charging Networks

Drivers had to use multiple apps to find and pay at different charging stations, creating a disjointed user experience.

02/

Inaccurate Availability Data

Real-time status of chargers was often delayed, leading to drivers arriving at occupied or broken stations.

03/

Payment Interoperability

Handling secure, cross-provider payments without requiring users to maintain 10+ different digital wallets.

Our Solutions

We architected a unified EV ecosystem that synchronizes 15+ disparate charging networks into a single, high-performance interface. Using real-time WebSocket connections, we deliver sub-second availability updates, while our custom routing engine calculates optimal charging stops based on vehicle-specific battery curves. The platform integrates with Stripe for instant, cross-network payments and uses an edge-caching layer to ensure the map remains responsive even in low-connectivity areas. The backend uses a microservices architecture to handle the complex hardware handshakes required by different charging station providers, ensuring a 99.9% success rate for remote charging sessions.
