Do you want to learn everything about there is to know about Google AdSense?
Google AdSense is a program run by Google through which website publishers in the Google Network of content sites serve text, images, video, or interactive media advertisements that are targeted to the site content and audience. These advertisements are administered, sorted, and maintained by Google. They can generate revenue on either a per-click or per-impression basis. Google beta-tested a cost-per-action service, but discontinued it in October 2008 in favor of a Double Click offering (also owned by Google).
In Q1 2014, Google earned US $3.4 billion ($13.6 billion annualized), or 22% of total revenue, through Google Ad Sense. AdSense is a participant in the Ad Choices program, so AdSense ads typically include the triangle-shaped Ad Choices icon. This program also operates on HTTP cookies. Over 11.1 million websites use Ad Sense.
How much does Ad Sense pay per 1000 views? If your average CPC is $0.25 then you need 100,000/0.25 = 400,000 clicks a year (or approximately 1,000 clicks a day) to earn $100,000 a year from Google AdSense. Assuming that your Page CTR is 1% you need approximately 100,000 page views a day.
